Toyota West Virginia continues to implement carbon neutral practices and invest in renewable energy–including an agrivoltaic effort–to meet the company’s Toyota Environmental Challenge 2050: becoming carbon neutral by 2035.
Black Rock Wind Farm spans Grant and Mineral Counties in West Virginia. Its 23 wind turbines produce 115 megawatts of energy, enough to power 55,000 homes and save 298,500 metric tons of CO2 emissions. Black Rock sells energy to Toyota West Virginia and AEP Partners through power purchase agreements.
