Stories That Inspire Action

Spencer Presbyterian Church is an Earth Care Congregation

Spencer Presbyterian Church, in Spencer, WV, is a small but energetic Earth Care Congregation.  “We’re small, but we’ve always been interested in creation and preserving creation,” said Mary Quick, the church’s spiritual director. The church holds regular workshops on practical climate solutions, and received a ten year low interest loan from their national denominational body to install solar panels. The congregation used Solar Holler to install the panels.
